ETCO and ESICM continue joint sessions in Cardiff and Barcelona
Cardiff 24-26 September, 2010 ETCO will hold a joint session with ESICM.
Cooperation between ESICM and ETCO continues following the interesting session at the ESICM congress in Vienna October 2009 titled Coordination: The best link between intensive care medicine and organ-donation. ESICM will participate in a joint session at the Cardiff Congress in the following session on Saturday 25 September:
ETCO-ESICM Joint Session: Organ Donation as part of end of life care.
Chairs: Rui Moreno and Rui Maio
Speakers: Francis Delmonico, Boston. Challenges to defining death
Beatriz Domínguez-Gil, Madrid. Potential of deceased organ donation
Rui Moreno, Lisbon. Admission of potential donors in ICU. Is it a good practice?

ETCO will also participate in a joint session at the next ESICM congress to be held Oct 9-13, 2010: ESICM 23rd Annual Congress. Barcelona, Spain, www.esicm.org
