About Us
The ETCO Board is the governing council of ETCO, currently made up of President, Vice-president, Treasurer, General Secretary and two councillors, though there are usually three councillors. The board is democratically elected from ordinary members of ETCO - transplant coordinators or health care professionals closely related to the field. All ordinary members have the right to run for office and to vote, though they must be up-to-date with their membership fees.Elections for the Board are held every two years when half the Board is renewed. In 2009, elections will be held for the positions of Vice-president, General Secretary and one councillor (or two councillors if a board member runs for one of the positions and is elected).
