About Us

The ETCO Board is the governing council of ETCO, currently made up of President, Vice-president, Treasurer, General Secretary and two councillors, though there are usually three councillors. The board is democratically elected from ordinary members of ETCO - transplant coordinators or health care professionals closely related to the field. All ordinary members have the right to run for office and to vote, though they must be up-to-date with their membership fees.

Elections for the Board are held every two years when half the Board is renewed. In 2009, elections will be held for the positions of Vice-president, General Secretary and one councillor (or two councillors if a board member runs for one of the positions and is elected).
